This is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found in eastern and southern Africa, including Angola, the southern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa.
