Earlier this week, Cardi announced a new single “WAP” featuring Megan thee Stallion, marking it the first time the rappers have collaborated. And, in true Cardi fashion, the announced included great visuals, with a single cover of Cardi and Megan donning BAP-style updos with gold nameplate hoops that read WAP. Last night, Cardi and Meghan finally dropped a full music video for the single with a plethora of fashion and beauty looks that we'll be talking about forever.

Cardi’s stylist Kollin Carter and Megan’s stylist EJ King worked together to bring this vision to life from custom Mugler looks to zebra print bodysuits. While Tokyo Stylez and Kellon Deryck created all of the extravagant hairstyles. The theme was definitely camp, from the updo hairstyles and excessive animal print to the latex, with an obvious homage to rappers like Lil Kim and stylist Misa Hylton. Then there were the cameos from celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Normani, and Rosalia. We've already watched the “WAP” video at least 10 times, here are our favorite looks.
1. Matching Neon Bodysuits and BAPS Updos
Cardi and Megan wasted no time getting into the fashuns! For the opening look, the girls strutted down their funhouse hallway in matching pink and yellow Nicolas Jebran corset bodysuits, complete with dramatic train sand feather-adorned gloves.
2. Lisa “Left Eye” Chain Ponytail and Custom Mugler
Cardi loves a corset moment! For this animal print crazed scene, Cardi donned a custom leopard print Mugler look. But, the hair stole the show. The knee-length chain ponytail and bang was reminiscent of TLC's Left Eye who wore signature ponytails in the ‘90s. Cardi also paid homage to Left Eye during her first Coachella performance in 2018.
3. Willy Wonka's Fashion Factory

Cardi and Kollin love a Mugler moment! For this fun scene that looked like a replica of the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory, Cardi and Megan wore custom purple and neon green Mugler looks featuring the brand’s signature corset with matching thigh-high boots. The visuals of the duo dancing in Mugler against the neon and purple backdrop is one that deserves to be remembered in rap history.
4. Snakes, But Make It Fashion
We can always count on these two to make a scary moment look effortless. While being serenaded by snakes that Cardi claims was “the funniest and scary,” the duo wore custom python Bryan Hearns sultry looks with shoes tied up their thighs.
5. Meg's Tiger Stripes
Adding to the list of animal prints, Megan danced in a custom Zigman tiger bodysuit. To complete her look, her hair was styled with ombré tiger print that blended into her bodysuit, it was the cherry on top of the entire scene.
6. Twinning Fishnets and Latex
Latex was all of the rage throughout the music video. In their water scene, Cardi and Meg rocked jet black curly wet hair and complete black latex looks featuring fishnet designs.
7. Kylie's Surprise Cameo
While there were many cameos, Kylie Jenners might've been the most surprising of them all. She made her cameo rocking a plunge neck leopard print costume with matching thigh-high boots.
8. Normani's Homage to Naomi Campbell
Normani also made a cameo. The singer (who also gave us an eight-count routine in the video) was clad in a houndstooth latex ensemble by Venus Prototype Latex. From the look to the houndstooth adorned room, Twitter has noticed that the scene was most likely inspired by Naomi Campbell's ‘90s Azzedine Alaïa campaign. With all the other homage paid in this video and Kollin Carter’s genius costuming, we'd say it's spot on.

9. Rosalia in Fiery Red Latex
The list of cameos (and latex!) continues. Rosalia turned heads in a fiery red latex one piece from Venus Prototype Latex.
10. Mulatto in Baby Blue Latex
Cardi made sure to include upcoming rappers in her list of appearances. Mulatto was one! The Ohio rapper danced in a blue latex frock complemented by an ashy blonde bob.
11. Sukihana and Rubi Rose
Rappers Sukihana and Rubi Rose also surprised us in latex looks. Sukihana wore a printed suit with Bantu knots and crystalized baby hairs and Rubi Rose wore a red latex look completed with a fire like silhouette for shoulders.
To say the costuming was amazing is an understatement. See all the looks in action in this video here.
