Welcome Event 2024/2025

Event Details:

 Date: Wednesday, September 18th, 2024


 Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
 Location: Esprim

Objective: To create a warm and engaging atmosphere for the new students as they begin
their journey at Esprit. The event will provide an opportunity for students to meet their peers,
explore new ideas, and get excited about the possibilities of the academic year ahead.

Our Mission: The primary mission of our club is to enhance and showcase the reputation of
our faculty by organizing impactful events and activities that not only engage our students but
also highlight the excellence and innovation that Esprit represents. Through our initiatives, we
aim to position our faculty as a leader in nurturing the next generation of innovators and
leaders in AI and technology.

I. Program Overview:

1. Opening Speech:
o Presented by: Mr. Lamjed Bettaieb, Deputy General Manager of Esprit Group
o Topic: "Gen Z: Creating the Future of AI"
o Objective: To inspire students with insights into the role of Gen Z in shaping
the future of artificial intelligence and technology.
2. Meet and Greet:
o Objective: An informal networking session where students can get to know
their peers and establish connections that will support them throughout their
studies.
3. Interactive Activities:
o Focus: Discovering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and exploring
the application of AI in addressing these global challenges.
o Format: Interactive workshops and activities that encourage student
participation and engagement.
4. Games and Quiz:
o Theme: Exploring the vocabulary and foundational concepts of the core
modules in their studies.
o Objective: To make learning fun and interactive, helping students to
familiarize themselves with key terms and ideas in a relaxed setting.

II. Highlights from Last Year:

We are proud to showcase some of the significant achievements and activities that made the
previous academic year remarkable:

 NVIDIA Training: A specialized program where students received hands-on


experience with NVIDIA technologies, enhancing their skills in AI and machine
learning.
 Arduino Training: A series of workshops that provided students with practical
experience in electronics and programming, fostering innovation and creativity.
 Datacraft Summit: Our flagship event, which brought together over 150 students and
more than 15 startups and companies. This summit was an excellent platform for
students to learn, network, and showcase their talents, with a focus on data science,
AI, and entrepreneurship.
III. Budget Request for Equipment and Decorations:

To ensure the success of the event and create an inviting atmosphere, we require a small
budget to cover the costs of renting a sound system, microphone, and basic decorations.
Below is a detailed budget estimate in Tunisian Dinars (TND):
