DEMETRIO F. NAGTALON INTEGRATED SCHOOL
Moncada North District
TUBECTUBANG, MONCADA, TARLAC
Sir:
Greetings!
In accordance with DepEd Order No. 037, s. 2022, titled “Guidelines on the Cancellation or
Suspension of Classes and Work in School in the event of Natural Disasters, Power Outages/ Power
Interruptions, and Other Calamities, I am writing this letter to request from your good office a
permission to implement the adjustment of time of classes at Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School
and automatic suspension of classes in times of power interruption due to extreme summer heat and
power shortage. Teachers and students experience heat exhaustion leading to difficulty in breathing
and complain that the extreme hot weather is too much for them to bear.
Furthermore, this adjustment is temporary in nature will start on May 02, 2023 and will end on June
16, 2023.
Attached here is the adjusted schedule excerpted from the concluded meeting with the SPTA and
BLGU that was held April 24, 2023, in connection to the issuance from DepEd Central Office on Hot
Weather (Memo OASOPS No. 2023-077 dated April 20, 2023.
Your positive response on this request is highly appreciated. Thank you and more power!
Respectfully yours,
WEBSTER P. SARAOS

Suspension of Classes and Work in School in the event of Natural Disasters, Power Outages/ Power
Interruptions, and Other Calamities, I am writing this letter to request from your good office a
permission to continue implement the adjustment of time of classes at Demetrio F. Nagtalon
Integrated School and automatic suspension of classes in times of power interruption due to extreme
weather condition and power shortage. Another reason why we request continuation of alternative
delivery mode of lesson is because of the reason that 2-classroom building that being erected by the
LGU produces noise during the operation of power tools such as grinders, cutting tools and cement
mixer. Also, the dusts and fumes of the cement are hazardous to the pupils and teachers leading to
difficulty in breathing.
Furthermore, this adjustment is temporary in nature will start on June 19, 2023 and will end on the
end of the School Year on July 7, 2023.

Sir:
Based on the Enhanced Planning Parameters on the Allocation and Prioritization in the
Deployment of Items for the School Year (SY) 2023-2024 and the data generated thru LIS and the
latest inventory of plantilla positions, the validation conducted today, June 15, 2023 by the Schools
Division Office thru the Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, using the
computation of teacher requirement, it was found out that our Junior High School has a shortage of
teachers who will handle JHS classes. In line with this, I have the honor to request your good office
the deployment of six (6) teacher items for Junior High School at Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated
School, Moncada North District, this school year 2023-2024 to wit:
1. That, Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School started offering Junior High School during
the School Year 2019-2020 with two teachers deployed from Tarlac National High
School to teach the Grade 7 learners
2. That, and last School Year 2021-2022, two Extension Position were gpiven to Demetrio
F. Nagtalon Integrated School to handle the Grade 9 and 10 learners.
3. That, Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School is now offering Grade 7 to Grade 10 levels
with a total enrolment of One Hundred Twenty (122);
4. That, in any moment, the two (2) teachers deployed from Tarlac National High School
will be recalled for a plantilla-based inventory of Tarlac National High School;
5. That, Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School has growing trend of enrolment, hence,
the school needs six (6) teachers to handle the forecited grade levels.
Thank you in anticipation of your approval and favorable action regarding this request.

Dear Sir:
Based on the data from the division office and the validation of data conducted today it appears that
Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School Elementary Department has one (1) excess teacher. However, it can
be justified that Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School Elementary Department has no excess teachers and to
wit:
That classrooms in Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School can only accommodate maximum
of 30 learners since most of the classrooms being used are in the Marcos Type Building.
DFNIS has 10 classes: Kindergarten with 2 sessions, Grade 1, Grade 2A, Grade 2B, Grade 3,
Grade 4A, Grade 4B, Grade 5A, 5B and Grade 6. However, it can be justified that DFNIS
needs a subject teacher. Based on the present class program, the number of minutes of every
teacher in the intermediate level can be concluded that almost all the teachers exceeded from
360 minutes (DepEd Memo No. 291 s. 2008). Therefore, 12 teachers can suffice the number
of teachers needed in the school.
That the forecited enrollment for the incoming Grade 1 will reach 46 learners, thus additional
section and additional teacher is needed.
In this regard, we are looking forward for your consideration to retain the identified excess Teacher
here at Demetrio F. Nagtalon Integrated School. Rest assured that Demetrio F. Nagtalon will continue its
commitment to transfer learning for the greater advantage of our learners.
