Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedure must be
I. OBJECTIVES followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises, and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies.
These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable
children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the Curriculum Guides.
A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of concepts and principles underlying theories and actual
application in agricultural crop production (Rice).
B. Performance Standards The learner independently demonstrates common competencies in agricultural crop production
work (Rice) as prescribed in TESDA Training Regulation.
C. Learning Competencies / 1. Use the appropriate tools and equipment in preparing the land for planting of rice.

Activity 2: Role Play - Plowing and Harrowing


Materials: Props for role play (e.g., toy tractor, ropes, buckets)
Instructions:
1. Divide the class into pairs.
2. Assign each pair a role (e.g., farmer, tractor driver).
3. Provide props for the role play.
4. Instruct the pairs to demonstrate the proper way of plowing and harrowing using the props.

2. Provide containers, rakes, and hand tractors for the students.
3. Instruct the students to prepare and level the land using the provided tools.
4. Observe and guide the students as they perform the simulation.

- Thorough preparation and leveling of the land: 10 points
- Proper use of tools and equipment: 5 points
