Dear Distributor,

we inform you that starting from


January 1st 2004, it is officially came
into force the European Regulation
CE2295-2003 of December 23rd 2003,
that it foresees the obligation of marking
on all single eggs and packings.
To such purpose, we are glad to
remember you that Zanasi offers a full range of products and accessories to print
directly on to egg and/or packing.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Printing systems: JET2000 and Jet2Plus with High Speed software (remember that
JET2Plus with High Speed software can print only 2 lines of text).

European Regulation:CE2295-2003 of December


23rd 2003

Type of coding application request directly on


the egg: the regulation generally foresees that
each aviculturist must print on eggs an “aviculture
code”, made of 11 digits (ex. 3IT032PD999). This
code is composed as follows:
- Aviculture type (battery, ground, biologic,
open side)
- state
- city
- province aviculture code provided by the
local sanitary office

In addition, all the “farm-packer companies” where the same are packed, must print
the egg and the packing with the following additional data: 1) best before date; 2)
“farm-packer company” code, made of 4 digits, provided by the ministerial office.

Max Egg Production printable: print up to 30.000 eggs/hour per line.

Suitable inks: INK 203 RED (90% used) and INK 251 BLUE (10% used). Food inks
above mentioned are produced in conformity with the Ministerial Decree N° 27 of
February 2nd 1996 N° 209 ref. CE 1274/91 regulation.
Inks are also supplied with their own Safety Data Sheets for their use and stock.

Single Packing Line eggs systems with


direct interface to the Zanasi systems:
both systems JET2000 and JET2Plus can
be installed on any egg-packer system by
mean of two tools: a simple optic fiber
sensor capable to easy detect the egg and
a floor mounted Print Head support to avoid
any vibration. Following we list some of the
world most famous producers of egg-packer systems: Moba, Dyamond, Staalkat,
Simetec, Sacmel, OMEC (Cesarin), etc.
Packaging eggs systems multi lines
(until 4) with direct interface with
Zanasi systems: the only system
“JET2Plus EGGS”, thanks to a special
logic board with a modified software, it
is able to connect directly via serial line
or BCD, with the most worldwide
famous egg-packer systems producers
above mentioned. For such
applications, every single case must be
first evaluate by Zanasi.

Number of printing systems request per packing Lane (printing on packing): n°1.
By mean of an automatic traversing system that moves the Print head (see picture
below), Zanasi JET2000 and JET2Plus systems can print on 2 exits with only one
system.
This application will be achievable only through our partner, the Italian MOBA agent.
