K. Identify the best practices of the school that respond to the following
characteristics of a child-friendly school. Write your answers on the
column below:
1. How does the school address the general health and well-being of students?
-They always conduct symposium about health awareness yearly. This year
they conducted mental health awareness along with HIV and AIDS prevention.
Reflection:
I realized that it is important to secure that the school is conducive for learning
because as teachers we do not just consider the preparation of our lesson but the
school as a whole. As part of the faculty, we have a responsibility also to help the
school become better. I realized that there is a long checklist on how to give the best
school to the students. Although there is no perfect school, the school must address
the lackings or problems that they may encounter in order to encourage more
students to love learning and love their alma mater as well.
