PROJECT NO.

2 METRO MANILA INTER-CITY BUS TERMINAL

Project Description:

Metro Manila Development Authority has decided to implement the Inter-city Bus System connecting and servicing the major
cities in the metropolis. This project aims to systematize and regularize the bus transport system within the city to reduce traffic
as well as to promote efficient, fast and comfortable commuting conditions of the expected users. Several nodes in the city will
be developed into intermodal bus terminals facilitating the transfer of passengers from jeep, FX, and other modes of land
transport into bus mode of transport.

Project Site Features:

The pilot site will be located in a parcel of land in Quezon City situated along EDSA intersection node of Cubao- Aurora Blvd.
Converted land use to UTS zone with a total lot area of 2.25 has. A corner lot with 150 meter wide frontage facing EDSA
(Northbound lane) and 150 meter side facing Aurora Blvd (Westbound lane) Has relatively flat terrain and has 1.2m wide
sidewalks at both sides. The surface of the sidewalk at the center of the Project Site frontage is considered as elevation 0.0m. To
the adjacent sides of the project are commercial establishments and complexes. The project design aims to serve as a model for
other inter-city bus terminals to be developed in the metro.
