Implementation
1 OPS Restore
For this specific hands-on, we suppose that an empty database has been created
previously
Ask for the software licenses files to the trainer.
Copy these files on your client computer
Restore all licenses files in the OXE
Use a SFTP connection to the OXE (SSH is activated !)
1.1. Transfer of the OPS files from a PC to the Call Server Disk
Notes
In this procedure, we use FileZilla Client to transfer the OPS files from a PC to the Call Server Disk.
Select the
correct
transfer type
Host Enter the IP address or the FQDN of the OmniPCX Enterprise (ex. 192.168.1.3)
Username Enter the login (ex. mtcl)
Password Enter the password (ex. mtcl)

Local site Select the folder where you store the OXE licenses files.
Ask to the trainer where are located the licence files .
Note: the path ( C:\Softs\OPS\ ) in this screencopy is only provided for example purpose
to the
/usr4/BACKUP/OPS
folder

As the OXE available in the RLAB environment is a virtual machine, we will use an
external Flexlm server to control the licenses.
It is therefore necessary to declare in the OmniPCX Enterprise database this external
Flexlm server:
- Flexlm IP address: 192.168.1.80
Restart the OXE and check licenses with spadmin
In this training, we will mainly use the OXE WBM graphical interface.
To access it, you must open an Internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, ..) and enter the following URL:
https://OXE IP Main @ (e.g.: https://192.168.1.3)

The "Panic Flag" indicates that an inconsistency has been detected in the OPS files and that the degraded mode
procedures of the system are activated:
- PANIC Flag = 0 normal operation
- PANIC Flag = 1 operation in degraded mode
- List of the counters corresponding to each one of the locks
