Lebron James
Lebron Raymone James was born December 3th 1984. He grew up in Akron, Ohio with
a single mom and violence around his neighborhood. His father Anthony Mcceland wasn't
around because he was an ex-convict and that left his mother Gloria James to raise lebron by
herself having him at 16 years old. When Lebron was 4 years old his mother had bought him a
little basketball hoop for christmas and a little boys basketball. Ever since this has been
interested in basketball like no other. At nine years old she recognized how skilled he was at
basketball but also she sent him to live with Frankie Walker after finding out he was skipping
school and nearly dropped out of 4th grade. Frankie walker helped gloria james pay her rent
because they were at a very low budget and they didn't have much from where they came from
she helped pay for her rent and helped lebron move back in with her. Lebron attended St
Vincent St Mary High school. At St Vincent St Mary highschool he was a basketball and football
sensation. After his standout junior season where st vincent st mary lost in the state finals he just
started to singley focus on basketball full time. At this time Nike and adidas both were trying to
sign him as an athlete. The junior season of basketball he led his team to the state finals and
they had lost but he still had gathered a lot of attention from that junior season by the nba.
In his senior season Lebron and his team bounced back from last year's state finals loss
and became state champions. Rather than going to college, Lebron decided to declare for the
draft at 18 years old right out of high school. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the
2003 NBA Draft. In his first year of the NBA despite not making the playoffs, Lebron had a great

rookie season and won rookie of the year being the first Cleveland cavaliers player to win this
award. They failed to make the playoffs the second year although he made the all nba team in
the second season of the nba and his first all star team. In the 2006 season he led the cavs to a
first playoffs appearance since 1998. The cavs made it as far as the second round beating the
washington wizards but then losing to the detroit pistons. In his fourth season he reasserted his
dominance by averaging 25.7 points per game. Lebron led the cavs to the nba finals in 2007 but
ran into tim duncan, tony parker and manu ginobili arguably one of the greatest all time teams
put together and lebron and the cavs had fallen short. In 2008 Lebron had his first MVP season
and from there on foward he began to take over the NBA. In the 2009-2010 season he became
an unrestricted free agent which led him to going to the Miami Heat. This was because the
Cleveland Cavaliers did not put enough pieces around him to make the team better so he left to
go to miami. This was leaving plenty of Cleveland fans mad burning his jerseys and booing him
whenever he came back to the city to play. Lebron spent four seasons in Miami, winning back to
back championships in 2012 and 2013. Also those being his first two NBA finals mvps as well.
After this stint with the Miami heat he once again entered free agency. This time around
he went back to Cleveland in the 2014-2015 season promising he would deliver a championship
to the city. In his first season back he came up short against the very lethal Golden state
warriors and lost the NBA finals series 4-2. Though they faced very difficult obstacles the very
next season even with a mid season firing of their head coach they had persevered through and
once again made it to the finals. Once again facing the warriors, This was the sixth straight
season lebron made the NBA finals. The finals series proved to be one of the best nba finals
series’ in nba history. The Cavaliers came back from the brink of elimination down 3-1 in the
series. This was sealing Lebron’s 3rd championship ring and his first with his hometown team.
