After all the research you might be thinking what is the causes of the

academic procrastination to the student activites. To cut the reading short, after

all the research we the researcher found out the cause of procrastination. Student

procrastination was mainly caused by the fear of failure as the main reason while

on the second was caused by lack of self-regulation. however, there are also

various of reasons that can cause procrastination such as perfectionism and

technology. Procrastination has an effect on the student’s performance and it’s

welfare. Procrastination effects student performance and productivity resulting to

low scores on test, grades and failing grades and this result affects the student

emotionally in which it causes stress, depression, guilt and etc. moreover, during

the procrastination poor lack of sleep, agitation etc are experienced by the

procrastinator.
