Dela Cruz has served a great
contribution in the field of microbiology
as some of his research produced
information about antimicrobial
properties of locally found microorganism
that are useful for drug formulation. For
his accomplishments also represent his
several underlying recognitions in the
field of Science, Dela Cruz’ numerous
research introduced and benefited not
only his students but also the people that
studies and conduct researches for
microbiology. His studies for ethno-
mycology and fungal conservation
opened further information about the
local biodiversity and development of
formulation of fungal products and
different approaches to ecosystem.
Moreover, his studies served a vital
purpose in other aspect such as in
agriculture, wherein results of his study
can help produce successful plant
cultivation to ensure enough food supply.
