PERFORMANCE TASK

Instructions:
1. You are tasked to create a short video (e.g., mini vlog) discussing the most significant Philippine pop
culture events, trends, or moments that define the following years: 2020, 2021, and 2022. Take note that
you can only choose one specific pop culture category as content for your video.
Sample category:
Music Politics Clothing Technology
Memes Games Social Media Television Soap Opera
Others: (you can think of your own category)
You must be as creative, unique, and entertaining as possible in your mini vlog.

2. This performance task is divided into two (2) parts: the video and the transcript.
a. The video must focus on one category of Philippine pop culture events, trends, and/or moments that
have made a significant impact in your life and must not exceed three (3) minutes;
b. The transcript is a Word document file containing a four-paragraph essay answering the following
questions, which will serve as the basis for your mini vlog.
I. Introduction to Philippine Pop Culture
II. What (or who) were the pop culture events, trends, and/or moments you have chosen?
III. What made them popular?
IV. How did these pop culture events, trends, and/or moments affect you? Do they have a positive or
negative effect on you?

3. The performance task will be graded based on the following rubrics:
