Why should we hire you?

I am the best person for the job because I have a great passion for this type of role, and the
skills to work to a high standard. I believe job satisfaction comes from two things: firstly, it
comes from working in a role your skills are most compatible with, and secondly, it comes from
working for a company who I believe will develop my knowledge and skills and the experiences
that I can gather especially in the HR field which I can apply when I’ll be working in the future.
Also, I tend to be an organized and easy to adapt person with whatever the company will
require me to do.
What’s your ideal team?
Good communication makes for a great team, and creating best practices around how a team is
going to communicate is really important. For example, for my last class project our team met
weekly and created shared Google Docs so we could collaborate even when we weren’t with
each other, and we all agreed we could call each other whenever we needed something. This
synthesis of working styles helped us to stay on track, work efficiently, and ultimately get along
with one another.
Tell Us About a Situation Where You Took Initiative or Took on a Leadership Role.
There is one scenario when I have to stepped up because of the absence of my senior officer
and as his assistant in duties and obligation, I must fulfill as this is expected of me and I feel like
his absence should not affect the entire organization’ s progress. This is because we’re
preparing for an event and he’s the assigned officer but he got sick all of a sudden, and without
any hesitation, I took the initiative to do tasks that was assigned to him so that when he’ll return,
there would be no more setbacks and hassles. Gladly, I was able to do it with the help of my
orgmates. Being in an organization since my freshman years helped me to have the mindset of
taking the initiative especially when the situation calls for it.
What’s One Challenge You’ve Faced, and How Did You Overcome It?
This one challenged I face was when I went through the state of depression. I felt like nothing
goes right in my life. To overcome it, I had a talk with my father and he highlighted some
important things in my life which triggered me to develop the mindset that I should focus more
on my goals in life, and try to see the silver lining of it. I also overcome it with the help of me
time which helped to reflect and open up to myself that I may go through a lot of things, I should
stand up for myself and continue living my life and reading books also helped on that phase.
Right now, I always tend to weigh in negative things with positive things in my life before coming
up with a decision.
What are my weaknesses?
One of my weaknesses is that I sometimes have trouble saying ‘no’ to requests and end up
taking on more than I can handle. This has led me to feel stressed or burnt out. To help myself
improve in this area, I tend to have the “me-time” so I can visualize how much work I have at
any given moment and know whether or not I have the strength to take on more. Second, I also
sometimes struggled with lack of confidence. It has been helpful that I learned to be more
confident whenever we have group works at school and reporting since it helped me to better
understand why I should be confident about the skills and unique talents I bring to the table. I
have also made it a point to voice my ideas and opinions during meetings when I feel they are
appropriate and will add value to the conversation. 
What can you contribute to this company?
At first, what I can contribute to this company are my adaptability skills, organization skills
through the organizations that I’ve joined, being organized and dedication. First is my
adaptability skills because I tend to adjust things whatever the situation will require of me.
Second is my organization skills wherein I can contribute my learnings and experiences that
gathered during my tenures of being an officer in all the organizations that I joined. Third is, me
being an organized person since I know that there will be lots of tasks that I will encounter when
I have an internship and I believe being organized will help me to accomplish tasks way beyond
the deadline or learning how to prioritize each task depending on their importance or when the
company will be needing them. Fourth, my dedication since I am willing to give my best efforts
at things that I do to deliver the results that the company will expect of me.
What are my skills/strengths?
Throughout my experiences being a student and an officer in my school orgs, I develop the
skills such as adaptability skills, organization skills, good communication skills, and other
technical skills. First, adaptability skills which means that I can accomplish tasks way ahead of
the deadline and can work under pressure. Second, organization skills which I develop during
my tenure in an organization and specifically, focusing on how to organize an event by
disseminating the tasks properly to each officer as well as dealing with making business
connections, and having a planner or to-do list to monitor the progress of each assigned tasks.
Third, having good communication skills mean that I am well-verse in writing and speaking in
English as well as with vernaculars, Tagalog and Kapampangan. Lastly, my technical skills
which means that I am literated in using the Microsoft Applications esp. MS Word, MS PPT, MS
Publisher and Excel and also I obtained an NC2 in Computer Hardware Servicing wherein I
learned how to repair a physical computer, install software, and with the internet connection.
What do you know about our company?
I'm really impressed by your company's core values. I find that many of the things that are important to
this company are also important to me especially with the work-life balance aspect since it’s very rare to
find companies who truly values their employees’ other aspects of life other than just their work. This
factor is very important to me since I want to develop on how to really have that balance between my
work and my own life. Also, I have always admired the way that this company has had such a strong
focus on delivering top-quality customer service, and being responsive to my queries back then. These
are one of the reasons that I chose this company to have my internship aside from the fact that they are
one of the top performing BPO companies within the country. In my own experience- I have found that
valuing an employee of any position is the same as catering a query than any client would have. With
this, I will manage to uphold the company’s core values and be one with the team if ever I will be
accepted as their intern.
Can You Tell Us About a Project or Accomplishment You’re Proud of, and Why?
One thing that I am proud of is being in the honor roll since my elementary years. This is because I can
see that all my efforts, sacrificing my time with my family, friends, and for myself has paid of. Also, it’s
like I am paying back everything that my family have done for me. Being an honor student is continually
shaping me who I am today because when I am dedicated at something, I am pouring everything to it
just to deliver the high quality results that I am expecting and so that, I will not regret anything at the end
and it also showed that being persistent and resilient at something will make a difference especially if
it’s aligned with your goals.
What position are you eyeing?
For me, any position that involves Training and Development such as the Talent Acquisition Manager.
This is because I like to see how I can improve each employee’s knowledge, and skills as I was also an
officer back then who is tasked to orient newbies. It is also because I was able to fill the sense of
fulfillment in that situation as I can also learn or discover what the employee really needs in terms of
accomplishing their tasks or whatever is needed. With this, the company will be a good training ground
as I can apply what I learned during the tenure that I have with the organization.
