I told students that today will be their first chance to start exploring their topic- they
might find that when they look around at their topic they change their mind about what

Students explored their topics for the rest of class on Raz Kids, Epic Books and Kiddle.
2. Specific strengths of the lesson plan and delivery:
Students ended up doing the research in pairs because we didn’t have enough
computers- This actually worked out nicely because students could have a chance to
talk about their topic with their partners and get ideas for each other. I would do it this
way again.
3. Specific weaknesses in the lesson plan and delivery:
Students were feeling like they wanted to find more information on Google because
Kiddle is definitely limited.
