Chapter XIX: Pasimula ng Pagsalakay Namin sa Kalaban


From August 31st to September 1st of 1896, under Aguinaldo’s command, the Filipino
freedom combatants defeated the Spanish troops at Cavite.

General Candido Tria Tirona and Captain Simeon Alcantara had been the casualties of this
battle.

The entire province of Cavite become absolutely liberated from the Spaniards on November


1896.

Chapter XXXVIII: Pagpipisan ng Sangguniang Magdiwang at Magdalo


Cavite have become liberated through the efforts of both the Magdiwang and Magdalo councils.

An assembly was set to settle differences among the Magdiwang and Magdalo factions.

The meeting grew to become out to be an election of leaders for the


new progressive government.

After the election, Aguinaldo was elected President while Bonifacio was elected Director of the
Interior.

On March 24th of 1897, Aguinaldo found out that Bonifacio and his fellowmen met in a council
as handed a decision affirming invalid and void the meeting at Tejeros.

Aguinaldo discovered the plot of Bonifacio to kidnap him. 

Pasong Santol fell within side the arms of the Spaniards.

Chapter XLII: Ang Pagkakatatag ng “Consejo de Guerra”


Charges have been made towards the Bonifacio brothers.

An army courtroom was created with Colonel Jose Lipana as conducting judge.
Chapter XLIV: Hinatulan ng Kamatayan ang Magkapatid na Bonifacio
The Bonifacio brothers have been observed responsible and sentenced to death.

Aguinaldo reduced the sentence to banishment.

Generals Pio del Pilar and Mariano Noriel persuaded Aguinaldo to impose the first sentence that
was given to the Bonifacio brothers.
