Steps to Install Training App:

Pre-requisite:
Hardware of
a.) 400GB hard disk
b.) 4GB RAM, and
c.) 64Bit Windows

Step: 1
Download JDK 7
Link to download JDK 7:

Accept the agreement and click last link to start the


download for JDK for windows 64 bit OS.
After Clicking, it will prompt to open Oracle Sign in
Page.
Either you can create your own account for future
use or can use one I have created just for this
download purpose. Enter the below username and
password to start your download.

Once download completes, need to install JDK 7 and


JRE.

Step: 2
Open Your System Environment variables:
Enter/Set JAVA_HOME as a new system variable
either for the user or System variable if you have
admin rights on your machine.
Set JAVA_HOME to the $installed_directory

And update the same entry to System Path variable


as well.
Click on Edit Path Variable and add new entry to
%JAVA_HOME%
Cross Verify by checking your set java home path

Open command prompt and click cmd + Enter


Type echo %JAVA_HOME% to the prompt to check
the correct version on Java Home set.
Make sure it points to your installed java home only.

Step: 3
Download apache ant 1.8.2 version
Go to the binaries, and download version 1.8.2
Once downloaded, just keep to a folder of your
choice.
Now again go to the Environment variables.

Set the ANT_HOME to your variable for user or


system variables
Set the ANT_HOME to your $installed_directory
Update the Path variable and add a new entry to set
your ANT_HOME to system path variables.
To verify the correct entry
Click window + R – Now type cmd and Enter
Type echo %ANT_HOME% and ensure your system
points to the downloaded ANT_HOME only

Step: 4

Now go the installed training app folder.


Go to the command prompt and navigate to the
installed directory.
From the installed directory, you need to click
“studio.bat”
And it will cross validate your set JAVA_HOME and
ANT_HOME

And if all good, your studio will start


Step: 5

Once your training app open, and finish indexing


itself.
You need to click debug to start the server in debug
mode.

Your console will start building the project and start


running your training app server.
Wait till you see, Contact Manager ready.
Now Since your server has started, go to the Server
Edit Configuration

Go to the VM Options
And cross check the port used port for running
Training app

Now go to the browser of your choice, and type;


http://<localhost>:<port>/ab
