A single phase full wave rectifier supplies power to a 600  resistive load. The ac voltage applied to
the diode is 30 – 0 – 30 V. If the diode resistance is 20  and that of the transformer secondary
resistance is negligible. Determine the average load current, average load voltage and rectification
5 efficiency.
With a neat circuit diagram, explain the input and output characteristics for Common Base (CB)

7 Define operating point and explain the selection of operating point for transistor operation.

12 A voltage divider bias circuit using silicon transistor has VCC = 15V, RC = 2.7 k, R1 = 22 k, R2 =
12 k, RE = 2.2 k and =100. Calculate VE, VC, IC, and VCE. Draw the dc load line and locate the Q
point.
