Activity Sheet: Evaluating Trade Books and Digital Texts As Supplementary Learning Resources Grade 8 Materials
Materials
Your group will be given a set of trade books and other print materials to read and study. A
group member should sign for the books and make sure to return them to staff at the end of the
session. Likewise, you will be assigned to watch some videos, which are found in the flash drive
provided to each participant.
You will also be provided with the materials you will use for recording your group output:
Manila paper, colored paper/metacards, markers, paste/tape, etc.
Directions
1. Read and study the DepEd Learning Material assigned to your group. A digital
copy is found in your flash drive.
2. Read the trade books provided in your set of materials. Since there is only one
copy of each book, the custodian will see to it that the books are circulated for
all group members to read. Read the materials together, or to each other.
3. Watch the videos in your list, individually or together.
