NCAI 2002 MID-YEAR SESSION RESOLUTION #BIS-02-062
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the NCAI does hereby support the
Pechanga Band of Luiseño Mission Indians, the City of Temecula, and the County
of Riverside in their efforts to protect the Great Oak Ranch from condemnation by
SDG&E and urges the Department of the Interior to transfer the land into trust at the
earliest possible date; and
CERTIFICATION
The foregoing resolution was adopted at the 2002 Mid-Year Session of the
National Congress of American Indians, held at the Bismarck Civic Center, in
Bismarck, North Dakota on June 16-19, 2002 with a quorum present.
