STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES
The biggest producer of Coffee with Extremely low production on a
a total of 25,223 has with a hectare
production of 27,868.53MT.
Has still Vast of potential area i.e. Below average quality coffee
35,186 has.
Has existing brands i.e. Brown Cup Not known in the World Market due
Kulaman Coffee and Greentropics to very low/minimal export.
Coffee brand already accepted by
the domestic market.

THREATS OPPORTUNITIES
Cheaper and lower Global warming can impact coffee
quality imports. producing countries like Brazil,
Uganda and other countries like
Africa.
MISSION :
Organizing/unifying and capacitating small farmer
stakeholder organizations thus facilitating the
provision of technology transfer, establishment of
service facilities and linking them to
consolidators and processor.

OBJECTIVE 1:
Increase/expand new plantation areas by 35,186 hectares.
STRATEGY:
Identify dominant coffee producing provinces to cluster
them to a single production and market unit.
The Province will manage and operate the Center, provide staff and
funds for the operation and maintenance of the center;
STRATEGY:
DA and the PLGU will initiate the formulation of a Strategic
Plan for Coffee that shall be adopted of the organized
council.
