present at your facility, you must communicate this to Lloyds Register at the time you
schedule the proctor for the test. Additional fees may apply.
Once the test has been translated into other languages, a trainee may take the test in a
language other than the one in which the course is delivered. This is contingent upon
the proctor and instructor both being conversant in the second language. Otherwise the
trainee may choose to test in another language, but needs to be informed that he/she
loses the ability to ask questions of the instructor or proctor during testing.

Proctor Services
The process for scheduling proctor services is being finalized and will be communicated
in the near future.
Training providers will not directly pay proctors for their services. Payment for proctor
services will be made either to Lloyds Register North America or to IADC, depending
upon the training providers primary location of the accreditation program.
Lloyds Register will directly manage payment of proctors for any training provider with
a primary base of accreditation in North America. Even if training and proctor services
are provided outside North America, Lloyds will manage the payment process as long as
the companys base of operation is North America.
IADC will manage payment of proctors for training providers with a primary
accreditation location outside North America.
Some companies may require that a service agreement be established with Lloyds
Register North America before direct invoicing for proctor services can be provided.
Those providers needing to establish a service agreement with Lloyds Register North
America should contact Michael Rogers, Lloyds Register, as soon as possible, at
proctor@lr.org to begin the process.

Trainees with industry experience may satisfy the Driller course prerequisite by
completing the Introductory course or by demonstrating knowledge of the Introductory
course content. Demonstration of knowledge will be by the Test Out option available
up to forty-five (45) days in advance of taking the Driller course. The Test Out option is
available only for satisfying the Driller course prerequisite requirement. Taking and
passing the Introductory course Test Out option will not result in the issuance of an
Introductory Certificate of Completion. A Trainee wanting to pursue the Test Out option
should contact their training provider.
Training providers will be provided more details about the delivery of the test out
exam at a later date. Proctoring of the test is not required for the Introductory test or
test out option.
Test out option is available only for Introductory level course.
