Magnum – A Passage In Time – 2025 Dates

Following the death of guitarist and main songwriter Tony Clarkin, Magnum as a band ceased to be.  Short time later singer Bob Catley also announced his retirement. At the time Magnum were in the process of releasing possibly their best album in such a long time, Here Comes The Rain, it was ttheir 23rd album.

However, this summer Bob decided to dust off his vocal chords and went on tour with Avantasia once more, reigniting his passion for live performance.

Consequently Bob and co have announced a small number of dates as a tribute tour in the new year as ‘A Passage In Time, A Tribute To Tony Clarkin’, a ‘best of Magnum’ as Bob has described it in a recent video.  In the same video it was announced that Tony’s shoes would be filled by Brendon Riley who had previously been his guitar tech.

The dates as they currently stand are:

21/1/25 – Islington Assembly Hall, London
22/1/25 – Academy 1, Manchester
24/1/25 – Garage, Glasgow
25/1/25 – KK’s Steelmill, Wolverhampton
26/1/25 – KK’s Steelmill, Wolverhampton

Tickets are available from Gigantic

The Manchester venue has already been upgraded and additional show added in Wolverhampton so we would recommend you get your tickets as soon as possible.

The band, as we understand it, will be:

Bob Catley – vocals
Rick Benton – keyboards
Lee Morris – drums
Dennis Ward – bass guitar, backing vocals
Brendon Riley – lead guitar
