Shortly after making headlines for a confrontation she had with housemate Mickey Rourke after he made homophobic comments towards her, Siwa is once again in the news for disclosing that she is open to any pronouns.

"My pronouns are anything — anything you feel on that day, whatever I look like, you can call me," Siwa, who came out as pansexual in 2021, says in a video from PinkNews about her introduction to the Celebrity Big Brother UK house.

Other than updating her pronouns, Siwa has also been educating 72-year-old actor Mickey Rourke about some of his homophobic comments.

In an episode that aired on April 9, Rourke asked Siwa if she liked girls or boys.

Siwa replied, "Me? Girls. My partner is nonbinary."

"If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore," Rourke replied, per Attitude.

Siwa — who is dating Australian actor Kath Ebbs — replied, "I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship."

Later in the episode, Rourke told another contestant, "I'm going to vote the lesbian out real quick" and later said "I need a fag," gestured to Siwa, and added, "I'm not talking to you."

Rourke clarified he was talking about a cigarette. Nonetheless, he was reprimanded by producers for his comments toward Siwa, and later apologized.

Siwa had previously talked about their gender on a podcast cohosted by Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday.

In the interview, Siwa discussed that she did question whether or not she was nonbinary after she had "an incredible nonbinary friend" come into her life.

"It's like, I really did question for a second, and I never overly thought about it, and I never was ashamed of it or anything," she said, per PinkNews on YouTube. "I was just like, 'Oh, I wonder if that's how I feel.' But then, I always loop back around to that's not how I feel."

Even though Siwa said that she likes to "sometimes present more masculine," she is "such a little feminine baby girl" in her core.

Fans of Siwa are celebrating her pronoun update on social media, calling her their "closest and dearest lesbian of the month."

Celebrity Big Brother UK season 24 premiered April 7 and is currently airing on ITV1 in the United Kingdom. New episodes air on the network every night, except for Saturday. This season is expected to run for 19 days.
