Sommerdahl (2020)
I Wonder if the actors know how bad this is?
Everything in this series is so completely unrealistic. The good weather, the dialogue, the crimes....just everything. As a dane who are proud and a fan of Scandinavian crime - Nordic noir I've forced myself to watch this nonsense.
This is a just a bad soap...unfortunately. I wonder if the writers did any research to make this, because it is so unrealistic. A policeman who owns a property at the beach is unrealistic to begin with. But the names of the characters, the murders, investigation and most of all the awkward dualogue are unrealistic and quite annoying. Some of the actors are really bad. I gave it a chance but sorry, this sucks.
American Horror Story (2011)
Getting worse season by season
I ABSOLUTELY loved the first four seasons. From there it went from worse to worse. The decisions to hire celebrities without ANY talent whatsoever is mind-boggling! You went from an actual horror anthology to a weird, fragmented mess convinced that you'll get better ratings if you hire nepokids, overacting singers and reality stars.
This is so sad. I would give the first four seasons a top review, the following seasons 1 star- the alien one zero. I really don't understand why you insist on demolishing a great series with bad plots and bad acting. Last heard that you hired Kim Kardashian. Are you making spoofs now? I give up.
Inside Man (2022)
A GREAT LITTLE MINISERIES!
I must say that I do not understand the negative reviews. I found the miniseries quite entertaining and exiting. I find the actors performances quite good. Dolly, David and Stanley are excellent actors and I found myself wishing for another season with Stanley as he solves crime.
The script I found well-written (it's not great 'art', but it's not meant to be). Others reviews problematized the irrational behavior of the Wicker and Dolly. But people are in reality not rational at all, so the narrative and the characters irrationality suited me fine.
I binged the four episodes in one night, and wished for more.
Candy (2022)
Great performance and absolutely watchable
I found this miniseries to be quite watchable. As a non -american I didn't know the real story about the murder of Betty Gore, and I resisted to google during the five episodes. I found the cast really remarkable. Jessica did a great job! But I would also mention the fabulous performances by Melanie and Pablo.
Especially the first episode where Pablo, more and more anxious, calls home without poor Betty is answering (lying hacked to death in the family's home) is such a GREAT performance. I really felt his nervousness and increased panic through the screen. More from Pablo, please!!
And Melanie is, as always, immaculate playing the unpopular, vulnerable and awkward Betty Gore.
More from Melanie, please ( Can't wait for season 2 of Yellowjackets!!!?).
Great miniseries, although I was utterly surprised that Candy was acquitted!!! Nuts. But that is of course just what happened, so....
Good Joe Bell (2020)
Wahlberg bad as always
Why.... Why...Whyyyyyyyy...... did anyone hire Mark Wahlberg as an actor. His trademark: overacting with an open mouth never disappoint. So why wouldn't he overact looking like a mouthbreather in this one.
While the story indeed is inspiring, Wahlberg manages to destroy any redeeming quality of this movie. I was just lucky that I found the movie on a streaming site, so I didnt have to pay to watch it.
Really ironic, that Wahlberg, known as a gaybasher, got to play this role. In fact it gives me a bad taste in my mouth.
Please don't hire Mark Wahlberg again in any movie ever...Ever...Please.
Den som dræber (2011)
The script are so bad
Especially the fifth and sixth episode are so cringy and awfull. Extremely bad storyline with a totally unreseached script. For instance is the socialworker/psykologist in the prison reading the files from a social case she was asigned while being in child protectiv care. Why does she have the access to that file?? Nuts.
Also is the female lead SO ANNOYING. She has no impulse control and acts like violent and unethicly every chance she gets. So bad! And she being that irrational cant solve any cases and throw herself and others into lifethreatning situaions.
Also the dialogue is bad.
Only good thing is Jacob Sodergren.
Monsters (2022)
Stellar cast
It's about time with som quality from Ryan Murphy, who, the last couple of years, have been a disappointment. Here is the same quality as seen in the first couple of season of AHS.
I LOVE the performances in this show. As always Evan Peters is brilliant. This time supercreepy and convincing as Dahmer. He has a great career ahead of him and he already has proven his range and superiority. My heart bleeds for the sublime Richard Jenkins. He is, as always, incredible, here portraying Dahmer's father. The scene in the interrogationroom is heartwrenching.
So far only two episodes in. Can't wait to watch the next eight. Love this show!!!
How to with John Wilson (2020)
Absolute gem!
I simply love this. I haven't seen anything like this. It is informative, weird, hilarious and endearing at the same same. John Wilson is a bright, really funny genius.
Resident Evil (2022)
Really bad
Why does every new show have to be teenagerfied? It seems like Netflix and other productions only wants to create series that panders to the teenage segment. The result is ridiculous, weird and annoying.
The acting is also really bad.
Only Murders in the Building: Framed (2022)
Still a great show
The show is quite funny. I've missed those two guys so much. Steve Martin and Martin Short will never lose their relevance and comedic talent.
I for one like both Shirley McLaine and Amy Shumers performances.
But why use Chloe Delevinge. She is such a bad actor.
Secret Obsession (2019)
OMG
Cringy. Bad acting og ridiculous plot. An untterly waste of time. Couldn't anybody se this just reading the script. Can not believe the acting, almost like a spoof movie.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Bad
Cringy: Miranda's personality change, Charlotte's bad acting, annoying not funny comedian Che, the constant wokeness. It is to embarrassing.
There was so much potential and so much redeeming to do after the last disaster of a movie. But we got the cringy version.
The three stars is for nostalgic reasons.
American Horror Story: The Future Perfect (2021)
Bad
The last part was terrible, the first part tolerable.
Please do better next season. Pick better actors and do the effiort to make a script with the quality and plot to fill out 10 episodes.
American Horror Stories (2021)
Soooo bad...
The show is a massive disappointment. As an AHS fan I was looking forward to this show, but oh my lord, is was so painfully awfull. Bad acting, bad script...just bad.
I am shocked that the team behind released this.
