Baby Hater (2018)
Very important topic and a really objective look at it!
I loved this show so much. It doesn't judge and is vey open and curious about the topic of having children.
She goes through the different stages from birth to after and also has some real look into why society judges women and not men in this way.
Very funny and also kind of heartwarming. It actually made me think she was almost going to change her mind but it also made me understand her decision, she was so sweet and interested.
The show is short but has a range of interesting interviews from experts to friends and people on both sides of the discussion.
It is very well done and leaves you wondering what she ends up doing.
Dickinson (2019)
Just like Emily this is Unique, Intelligent and completely it's self
It is so brave to see someone doing something different. The anachronisms are woven through excellently. Acting is great and the themes and questions it asks are amazing. Highly recommend.
Alita: Battle Angel (2019)
I wish I had seen this sooner, I hope there is a squeal!
I was not excited to see this as the critics gave it such bad reviews. They mentioned excellent technical specialists but bad plotting and pacing. NOT true!! The movie stayed close to the original story line. It had interesting characters and the world it is set it has you so engaged. It is also hopeful and has me seeing the best in humanity. It has epic action scenes and really good twists. I watched it with my bf who usually falls asleep during scifi or anime and he loved it! So many terrible movies get sequels.
I just hope this one does WOW!!!
