In the pilot episode, the marquee for the Whiskey reads Mickey Ratt, which is the band that eventually became RATT. Stephen Pearcy, lead singer of RATT, plays the part of a bouncer, while the band RATT performs on stage.
It is stated that the show takes place in 1982 but the killer requests Shout At The Devil by Motley Crüe which wasn't released until September1983.
This was the first cancellation of the 2015-16 television season.
This is not the first time Jeremy Sisto has played a detective on television, he played one in the long running series, Law & Order.
