The 1970s and 1980s actor, Krishnachandran, dubbed his voice for Kunchacko Boban, since it was Kunchacko Boban first movie. Krishnachandran was famous for his classic movies such as: Rathinirvedam, Unaroo, Yuvajanotsavam, Ee Nadu, and Belt Mathai.
Aniyathipraavu was a record breaking hit that its lead hero Kunchacko Boban became a star overnight.
The film became the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, by breaking the previous record of Manichithrathazhu (1993) directed by Fazil himself. Interestingly, Fazil-produced Chandralekha (1997) broke its record in the same year.
Chandralekha (1997) broke the record of Aniyathipraavu in the same year to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film in history. However, Chandralekha's record was soon broken by Aaram Thamburan (1997) released in the same year.
