Review of 9ine

an African American male's challenge with teen pregnancy
11 September 2011
A few months ago I finally sat down to view this nine episodic series on the Public Internet Channel. Each episode was supposed to represent a month in the pregnancy. it was a nice touch in the first one where the two main characters were unaware of the oncoming situation.

I'm usually not a fan of web shows, but this one had a different feel than others I've watched. Another thing that made it special was at the end of each episode there were interviews with real teen parents, who shared insights to their lives.

I highly recommend for any, teacher, mentor, parent or peer dealing with young people around these types of issues.
