Marvel Studios has shared two new teaser promos for Agatha All Along to social media, and in addition to taking us back to Westview for a little trip down WandaVision memory lane, they give us a creepy first glimpse of the villainous Salem's Seven.
These shape-shifting baddies were the children of Nicholas Scratch (making them Agatha's grandchildren). They were magically-powered humans who had the ability to transform into animal hybrid/demonic creatures.
We're not sure if the Disney+ series will introduce the exact same group of characters, but in the comics, the team consisted of Vertigo, Brutacus, Gazelle, Hydron, Reptilla, Thornn, and Vakume.
The cast has not been confirmed, but members of the Salem's Seven are rumored to be played by Okwui Okpokwasili, Bethany Curry, Athena Perample, Marina Mazepa, Britta Grant, Chau Naumova, and Alicia Vela-Bailey.
Will the Seven ultimately be revealed to be doing the bidding of Mephisto,...

Agatha made her debut in the Disney+ series ‘WandaVision’ as the nosy neighbor-turned-powerful witch who attempted to steal Wanda’s powers. Following her defeat in the series, Agatha is left powerless and trapped in her mundane persona, a fate likely to be explored in the first episode of her own show. In the comics, Agatha is depicted as one of the most formidable magic users in the Marvel Universe, establishing a significant connection between the characters.
Given Agatha’s compelling presence in ‘WandaVision,’ it was a natural choice for her to receive her own spinoff series. With the release date of ‘Agatha’ drawing nearer, here’s a summary of everything we know about the upcoming show.

Agatha debuted in the Disney+ series ‘WandaWision,’ as the nosy neighbour-turned-powerful witch who tried to steal Wanda’s powers. By the end of the show, Agatha is defeated and trapped in her noisy neighbor persona, left powerless, which will obviously translate to the first episode of the show. The two characters share a connection from the comics, with Agatha being one of the most powerful magic users in the Marvel Comics Universe.
It wasn’t surprising when it was decided that Agatha would get her own show, the first spinoff derived from ‘WandaVision.’ Now since the release date for ‘Agatha’ is getting closer we decided to summarize everything we know about the show.

Agatha remains one of Marvel Studios' most intriguing upcoming projects, particularly with it serving as a follow-up to 2021's critically acclaimed WandaVision.
Nexus Point News has today shared new intel on the show's characters, starting with Joe Locke's Billy. They believe the plan is to reveal his true identity as the teenage son of Wanda Maximoff later in the series, making it a huge moment for non-comic book readers.
Aubrey Plaza is Rio Vidal, one of Agatha's antagonists, while Patti LuPone is Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata is Jennifer Kale, and Ali Ahn is Alice Wu.
Miles Guiterrez-Riley, meanwhile, is said to be playing Eddie, Billy's boyfriend. Likely to disappoint fans is the fact it doesn't sound like he has any connection to Teddy Altman, a.k.a. Hulking. Perhaps we'll meet him down the line; then again, it could be that Bruce Banner's son first introduced in She-Hulk...

The James Wan-produced horror film Lights Out made almost $150 million on a budget just under $5 million when it was released in 2016, so it was no surprise when New Line Cinema immediately greenlit a sequel. What’s surprising is that, seven years later, Lights Out 2 has still never made it into production. Collider recently hosted a screening of Lights Out with director David F. Sandberg in attendance, and during that event he talked a bit about the unmade sequel.
First, here’s a reminder of what was going on in Lights Out: When Rebecca left home, she thought she left her childhood fears behind. Growing up, she was never really sure of what was and wasn’t real when the lights went out… and now her little brother, Martin, is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that had once tested her sanity and threatened her safety. These two young actresses are definitely rising stars due to their acting range and maturity in the Hollywood business.
Talitha Bateman marks her major studio debut with Annabelle: Creation as a polio-stricken girl, who is haunted by a demon possessed in a doll. And Lulu Wilson plays her emotional and vulnerable best friend at the orphanage. Wilson was previously known for her terrific performance in another horror film Ouija: Origin of Evil.
The two girls star in Director David F. Sandberg’s Annabelle: Creation alongside Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings), Anthony Lapaglia (Without a Trace), and Alicia Vela-Bailey (Lights Out).
The film is a prequel to 2014’s highly successful Annabelle. It tells of the origin story on how the creepy doll was created and possessed. The doll ends up haunting a group of orphan girls.
Lrm participated in a roundtable interview with a few reporters and the two young actresses.

Demons can take many shapes and form. The creepy doll is no exception.
Annabelle: Creation heads into theaters nationwide today. It serves as the origin story on how the Annabelle is first created for The Conjuring universe.
The film stars Stephanie Sigman (Miss Bala), Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings), Lulu Wilson (Ouija: Origin of Evil), Anthony Lapaglia (Without A Trace), Talitha Bateman (The 5th Wave) and Alicia Vela-Bailey (Lights Out). It’s directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out).
We managed to catch actress Stephanie Sigman over the phone for the busy promotion for Annabelle: Creation. She told us about the lure of playing a nun character, which is quite different from playing a Bond girl on Spectre or a pageant model turned drug dealer in Miss Bala. She also discussed her personal beliefs in the supernatural and admitted that it was her who asked for the set to be blessed from evil.

It’s been a bumpy few months for “Timeless” fans, and the news of Abigail Spencer’s role on “Grey’s Anatomy” probably isn’t reducing the anxiety. ABC announced on Friday that Spencer is joining the cast of the long-running medical drama ahead of Season 14 in the recurring role of Owen Hunt’s (Kevin McKidd) sister Megan. On August 11th, David F. Sandberg’s latest project, Annabelle: Creation, will arrive in theaters everywhere courtesy of Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. Last summer, Daily Dead had the opportunity to take part in an extensive set visit for the sequel, which was held shortly after Sandberg’s feature film debut, Lights Out, was finding much success at the box office.
Annabelle: Creation is taking fans a few decades into the past, as we see how the titular doll not only came to be, but also transformed into a vessel of evil. The sequel first begins in 1945, where we’re introduced to the Mullins family, who suffer a great tragedy after their young daughter Bee is killed in a horrific accident. You may recall a little short film called Lights Out that floated around the Internet a while back.
That short film played on a primal fear of the dark that we all share and utilized it to tell a quick little atmospheric feature that was chilling.
Well, James Wan noticed that short film too and bringing the original director – David F. Sandberg - on board, and now with a bigger budget and canvas to paint on, we have a full length feature to disappear into the dark with.
Here's the skinny: I walk into any horror film with equal doses of jaded cynicism and excitement. I've seen a lot of scares from a lot of different playbooks so I've become, for better or worse, savvy to most tricks and jump scares.

If you’ve seen David F. Sandberg’s Lights Out, you are more than well aware that a huge reason why the film’s scares are so effective is due to Alicia Vela-Bailey, who portrays Diana, the supernatural entity that has an aversion to the light and will stop at nothing to destroy anyone she comes across.

Now that Marvel established the groundwork for Peggy’s origins tale in the Big Apple, Agent Carter season 2 will send the studio’s brilliant operative to the West Coast and, specifically, Hollywood as she looks to take on her most daring case yet.
At least, that’s the message buried in today’s all-too-brief snippet, heralding the return of Hayley Atwell’s title agent to ABC earlier next year. Settling into a new home has never been easy, but Agent Carter season 2 lumps on the pressure by introducing a series of atomic threats that emerge in the fallout of World War II.

There were some welcome horror touches and superpower moments in this week’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D….
This review contains spoilers.
3.4 Devils You Know
Now this is more like it. Last week’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn’t my cup of tea, but Devils You Know felt like a giant leap in the right direction.
Last time, Simmons was quiet and underused, but this week Elizabeth Henstridge showed some manic touches and brought the character’s Ptsd (for want of a better term at this stage) to life in a more interesting way. From scrambling to hide her work from Fitz to refusing help from S.H.I.E.L.D. therapist Andrew Garner, it felt like Simmons had a bit more depth to her this week.
Speaking of Garner – we should have known he was doomed as soon as he started trying to make up with May,...

Ausiello: Yes, things have gotten quite cloudy over the Jeffersonian — and this week’s episode throws a few more curveballs at beleaguered Booth and Bones, especially when one decides not to invite the other to an important event.

Now that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on winter hiatus, it’s time to set our sights on the production giant’s next small screen endeavor: Agent Carter.
The eight-episode series debuts next month and stars Hayley Atwell, who reprises her role of the titular Ssr agent from films like Captain America: The First Avenger and this year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as appearances on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a starring role in her own eponymous Marvel One-Shot short film.

The few teasers we’ve seen from the show already promise a fun, pulpy series set in the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
