field as an Emergency Transport physician at Childrens Hospital Los
Angeles. Growing up in Kentucky, she graduated with honors from college
and medical school at the University of Kentucky before moving to Los

along with a fresh perspective. As an on-site expert, she increases
efficiency by acting as a link between the department heads and by
coaching the actors before the shout of "Action!". She creates "Medical
Beats" to assist in the development of medical storylines and dialogue
for the script. Doc Michelle's experience in blocking medical scenes
provides the movement and action that makes the scene stand out. The
final creation of a technically correct and edgy medical storyline will
maintain viewer interest and keep the story right on target in today's
reality driven industry. Dr. Shuffett's experience also encompasses
other media venues including co-hosting a medical question and answer
website for parents and most recently co-writing a parenting book about
common pediatric questions. She was also featured on an "Inside
Edition" segment about medical consultants.
