- Rory Kinnear was only 12 years old when his father, Roy Kinnear died in a tragic horse riding accident, while on location in Madrid, Spain, filming The Return of the Musketeers (1989). "The Return of the Musketeers" was one of two films which were dedicated to Roy, the other being A Man for All Seasons (1988).
- Rory read English at Oxford University before studying acting at LAMDA. He is the godson of the late Michael Williams.

- Laurence Olivier Award-winning Royal Shakespeare Company Actor who played Bill Tanner in the James Bond films 'Quantum of Solace', 'Skyfall', 'Spectre' and 'No Time to Die' and portrayed Dr. Victor Frankenstein's monster in the Showtime series 'Penny Dreadful'. He also played a lead role in the 2014 film 'The Imitation Game'.
