There was essentially a large distinction in the God of War soft reboot when put in contrast to its original video game series. This included the introduction of Kratos’ kid, Atreus, and the Norse Mythology theme, which was a surprise to many but a welcome one.
Kratos and Loki | A still from God of War gameplay
With such drastic changes, one can guess how much of a challenge it would have posed while producing the game. It was also revealed via the creative lead of the game himself how members of the crew were conflicted with many of the ideas they were implementing, including the addition of Atreus.
Why Atreus’s Addition To God Of War Was Conflicted At First Atreus Spartan Rage | A still from God of War gameplay

Maestro. Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein (Director/Writer/Producer) in Maestro. Cr. Jason McDonald/Netflix © 2023. Bradley Cooper’s new biopic about Leonard Bernstein, Maestro, covers more than 40 years of his life, starting back in the 1940s. Cooper also portrays Bernstein throughout the film, just as Carey Mulligan plays his wife, Felicia, through all of those decades. According to Cooper, covering such a long period of time meant that the production crew had a lot of work to do, in terms of designing authentic looks, sets, and makeup for each of the different periods. (Click on the media bar below to hear Bradley Cooper) https://www.hollywoodoutbreak.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Bradely_Cooper_Authcity_Bernstein_.mp3 Maestro is currently streaming on Netflix.

Thanksgiving weekend is normally one of the top-grossing dates. This year, not so much. The debut of two $200 million productions and a second weekend of adequate performance from the “Hunger Games” prequel propelled holiday totals to mediocrity. As 2023 reaches its end stages, the absence of momentum after late-summer fireworks continues to depress results.
“Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” (Lionsgate) repeated as #1 with $28.3 million. That’s down 37 percent from its opening. The last of the original “Hunger” franchise films in 2015 dropped 49 percent, also post-Thanksgiving, but that was after a $100 million-plus debut. The prequel curently stands just under $100 million.
“Wish”Disney
Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” (Sony) surprisingly topped Disney Animation’s “Wish,” both Wednesday openers. However, each grossed around $20 million for the weekend and $32 million for five days —hardly stellar, considering the expense of each.
All told, the weekend grossed about $115 million. That represents an improvement from 2022’s $94 million,...

Bradley Cooper’s Maestro is an inspired ode to the late, great Leonard Bernstein. It’s also a thorny deconstruction of the man-as-tortured-genius trope, replete with a compassionate focus on his put-upon wife and the bond the two shared for close to three decades.

We go behind the scenes of a key VFX sequence in Kingsman: The Golden Circle...
If there’s one scene that sums up the insane action in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle, it’s the cable car sequence set amongst the Italian Alps.
Here, Agents Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Whiskey (Pedro Pascal) get stuck in a fast-rotating ski lift. The shots required a clever combination of practical stunts - including a motion sickness-inducing spinning set - and photoreal CGI. Here's how it was done.
Planning it out
The cable car Eggsy and Whiskey get trapped in is one that spins for scenic purposes. But it gets nefariously taken over and goes into out-of-control revolutions with them inside.
“Matthew had this idea that the bad guys have got control of the spinning and they just set it to super fast,” recounts Angus Bickerton, the film’s overall visual effects supervisor.

Officials at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital say the unidentified patient is being kept in isolation and that the hospital is following Centers for Disease Control recommendations to keep doctors, staff and patients safe. Hostage negotiator Det Heyward (Tom Verica) attempts to negotiate the release of the hostages, which they do release, but the robbers leave by another exit. Fritz (Jon Tenney) thinks the gang has three more members since they all belonged to the 'Dear Jane' gang, as he explains to Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick). They hand over the note to the bank teller asking for money, using the bank teller's name. They were wearing hoods and one of them is described as 'brown overalls' aka Dennis Bailey, their normal Mo is to wear baseball caps. Gabriel (Corey Reynolds) and Sanchez (Raymund Cruz) find safes at one of the robber's apartments and leave them in Taylor's (Robert Gossett) cubicle. As much as I’ve always loved the utility of Google maps, I never pegged it as a service applicable to pop culture. But, apparently, it is. See: this fantastic and spoiler-filled Google map geared entirely around The Walking Dead, also known as the coolest thing I’ve seen all day.
Jason McDonald created the completely annotated map, which chronicles the births, deaths, appearances, and other events and locations from the 78 issues of The Walking Dead comic book series. It’s certainly made me want to delve further into Robert Kirkman’s world — I find it pretty cool to see...

Google Maps just became a valuable resource for "Walking Dead" readers.
Before the Internet Age, fans would have to wait for large-volume hardcovers to arrive in bookstores in order to get a Tolkien-scale map of their favorite comic book's fictional locales. Now, however, the issue-by-issue event coordinates from Robert Kirkman's first 64 issues of ongoing zombie action are as easy to find as the nearest Burger King.
A new, comprehensive annotated "Walking Dead" map contains images and event descriptions, thanks to user Jason McDonald, who created the resource.
The map spans Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Washington, D.C., listing issue numbers and relevant characters. It even includes a handy key of easy-to-follow icons.
McDonald's map should get a lot more attention when the comic's TV series adaptation launches on AMC. In fact, you have to wonder if the show's director Frank Darabont and producer Gale Ann Hurd will be...
