- Benita Ha was born in Hong Kong and at a young age, immigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia with her family. She learned to speak English from her favorite TV shows, Sesame Street and Mr. Dress-Up and still speaks Chinese fluently. Benita knew she wanted to be an actor by age 6 and avidly embraced theatre classes by age 12. Her television debut was as a series regular in the Emmy Award-winning TV show, Street Cents on CBC. After that, she left the Atlantic for the Pacific and headed to Vancouver to further her TV and Film career. Her first Vancouver role was on The X-Files and since then she's had Principal, Guest Starring and Recurring Roles in over 75 TV shows on streaming services like Netflix, Prime, CW, Hallmark and Lifetime, to name a few, and networks like NBC, ABC and CBS. Benita has over 25 Feature Films to her name including When Time Got Louder, Good Boys and X-Men:The Last Stand.
