This Game Boy Color cartridge puts an Austin Powers theme "desktop" on your system screen, completely customizable with backgrounds, sound effects, icons, mouse cursors...even screensavers. All of these items can be changed with the expansive library of audio clips, graphics and animations lifted from and inspired by the two Austin Powers films.
On the desktop you'll root through icons to play around with the "operating system," even so much as dropping to a DOS screen to type in a few commands to pull up some secrets. There are tons of tiny desktop accessories like a message writer and calculator, and you can even send these trinkets to your friend's Game Boy Color with the same cartridge. You can even pull up a 30 second black and white video clip from the movie (without sound) if you want. Heck, there's even a mock dial-up to access an Internet of Austin Powers information.
But there are also a load of mini games in Austin Powers: Oh, Behave. Play Rock, Paper, Scissors and Othello against the computer or another player through the link-cable. There's also a Pac-Man clone where you collect symbols and mojo vials. All these games are also included in Austin Powers: Welcome to My Underground Lair, and the two games are interchangeable through the link-cable. This particular cartridge has its own unique mini-game, an Austin Powers platformer where you shoot cones and collect mojo vials while hopping through the London Underground. There is plenty to do in this Game Boy Color cartridge.
Take 2 will release Austin Powers: Oh, Behave at the end of July.
