The required images of the interested anatomical regions are obtained through high resolution 2D and 3D scans such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional MRI (fMRI), ultrasound (US), positron emission tomography (PET) and serial positron emission tomography (SPECT).
