A five-year-old son of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Anees, Coin Silver won two races in the US, including the Grade 2 Lexington Stakes, launching him on to the Triple Crown trail.

For the final stage, the students decided whether to spray paint their coin silver or gold, or brush on a bronze acrylic.

Greater Good and Closing Argument are both out of speedy runners from speed-orientated sire lines, so a win for them seems less likely than for Coin Silver -whose sire, Breeders' Cup Juvenile victor Anees, is dead.

T ristan Barry, assistant to trainer Todd Pletcher, who trains several horses, includ-ing Derby hopefuls Bandini and Coin Silver, on the Polytrack at Keeneland, is a fan.
