- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2021This is more sci-fi novel and less sci-fi comedy. Whilst it is obviously Red Dwarf it is also completely novel in many ways and certainly not a rib-tickler. The story get's quite complicated with more turns than a python that's just caught dinner. It is primarily 'Escape from Backwards World" which is an obvious cliche - telling the old/new story of what's happening backwards forwards and forwards backwards, forwards ... doh!
Good read, well worth the effort. This is completely different to "The Last Human" which is certainly not the same story and is worth a read too.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2017Red the red Dwarf books when I was a teenager and decided to have another read out of nostalgia, I was worried they wouldn't hold up. Well I needn't have because this book along with the others is fantastic, its hilarious, insightful and engaging. what you wating for smeg head go buy it.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2013I can't recommend the Red Dwarf books highly enough. A must read for all fans of the TV show; even though most of the plot is covered in the shows, the books are all gripping and genuinely hilarious.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nodnol?
Ahhhh more of our beloved dwarfers in an adventure that got dramatically shortened to make it into an acceptable length for the TV show. great fun with a relatively simple gag. After reading this the episode from the show made a good deal more sense to me.
