Home to the Azerbaijan Canoe Sprint and Rowing Teams, the “Kur” Sport and Rowing Centre is the national Olympic training centre. Located on the picturesque banks of the Kur River approximately 4-5hrs drive from Baku. A purpose built facility with on-site hotel makes it the perfect location and is one of the reasons it attracts athletes from a variety of countries across the World for training throughout the year.

• The sport of Canoe Sprint will feature 3 days of competition starting from June 14
• With 15 medals up for grabs, the Canoe Sprint competition will feature 350 athletes
• MIG will hold a 274 seating capacity and 1000 standing capacity on days of competition
