Dr. David Bartlett is Professor of New Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary and previously taught at Yale Divinity School, where he was dean of academic affairs and Lantz Professor of Preaching and Communication. An ordained minister of the American Baptist Churches, he has served congregations in Minnesota, Illinois, and California and has taught at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. Author of several books, including What’s Good About This News?, and co-editor of the Feasting on the Word commentary series, Dr. Bartlett also serves on the National Advisory Board for Christian Networks Journal.
