It has been suggested that the agree-
ment was made between the Victorian
Football League and the Victorian Foot-
ball Association ns constituted at the time
the document.was signed, and therefore
any alteration iii the constitution of cither
body would render the agreement null,and
void. It has been urged that because the
Association lins agreed to take into its
ranks the Public Service club, if it can
secure a central ground, and the Coburg
club, it is not the same body which made
the agreement tvith-thc League. Tins bin
been put to me as an adequate reason
wit- the agreement should not lie binding,
but, again, I would hesitate before saying
that the sporting ethics of the League are
such as to justify resort to this quibble.
