MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that he and Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov briefed President Vladimir Putin about Ukraine’s non-compliance with the moratorium on strikes on energy infrastructure.
"At the very beginning of today’s Security Council session, the president, before switching to the main issue of fighting terrorist threats, asked Defense Minister Andrey Belousov and myself to talk about the development of our relations with the Americans with regard to the Ukrainian dossier," the top Russian diplomat told reporters.
According to him, "Andrey Removich Belousov laid out how the moratorium, coordinated at the proposal of President Trump back during the March 18 phone call between our presidents, of Russia and the US, is being observed." "Belousov said that the moratorium is not being complied with. Russian energy facilities have been subjected to attacks this entire time, maybe, with one-two day interruptions, and listed all the facilities that have been targeted by Ukrainian drones over the past period, including last night. And I continued along the same lines," Lavrov added.
