The white hunter dies in...See moreThe white hunter lives in the mountains with his two sons, Harry and André, and his daughter, Edith. Edith leaves his family in order to look for her unfaithful lover and she finds her death in an abyss on her way. The white hunter dies in his sorrow. On his death-bed, he tells André that he is not his son and that he found him with his mother, who died soon after, at a stormy night. He hands him an amulet. Harry and André set off to revenge the death of their loved sister. On their way they meet the daughter of the hermit in Ramandon, courted by Ediths former seducer, lord Warling. Harry saves the girl from the harassment of the lord. Warling blackmails the girls father, an escaped murderer, so he promises to give his daughter to him. Alice protests as she loves Harry. The two young men intervene. Fight breaks out for the girl and André kills the lord. Seeing the amulet of the dead man he realizes that he killed his own father.
