Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics delves into the biochemical and biophysical mechanisms that control cellular physiological homeostasis.

• This journal will no longer accept the below papers, and all rejection decisions are final (please see more details in "Journal Updates" below). The Editors will not enter into discussions with authors regarding rejections of the below papers: 
  • Unsollicited reviews. Please send potential review papers, sending the abstract and the title, to Editor-in-Chief Narasimham L. Parinandi at narasimham.parinandi@osumc.edu . Not all review papers will be accepted for submission; (review papers must be invited only by the Editors);
  • In silico papers with no applications to biochemistry or lacking a bioactive agent;
  • Patient studies lacking an application to cellular biochemistry;
  • Papers which do not, when requested, present raw data. Authors understand that it is their responsibility to, when requested, present raw data even if this is from a third party. 
  • Papers on traditional medicine/extracts must possess a known bioactive molecular structure in order to be considered
• Emphasizes the relationship between molecular structure and specific property/function.
• Presents original information on the properties, structure, function, behavior, and interactions of cells and their molecular/macromolecular constituents.
• Coverage includes genetic and biomolecular engineering; computer-based analysis of tissues, cells, cell networks, organelles, and molecular/macromolecular assemblies.
• Known for innovative developments in analytical cytology and cytometry.
