- orphaned, was used on speedy deleted article SmashvilleBONK! 00:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- The image runs counter to the information here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/copyright#Images which cannot be "fair use" and the underlying principle of not using material copied from existing encyclopedias and encyclopedia-like works. The image was created and used in such a context where originally published in Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files 1 (Feb 2008). --J Greb (talk) 02:17, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, we already have another image without this problem. *** Crotalus *** 06:13, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- The "image" runs counter to the information here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/copyright#Images which cannot be "fair use" and the underlying principle of not using material copied from existing encyclopedias and encyclopedia-like works. The text block is primary content originally published in Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files 1 (Feb 2008). --J Greb (talk) 02:17, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete as completely pointless; there is never a good reason to have an image that consists of nothing but text scanned from a comic book. If portions of the blurb need to be quoted, then just quote it in the article. *** Crotalus *** 06:10, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- Delete, no reason to push the boundaries like this; there are plenty of previous issues featuring Mogo, and in fact we already have a valid one on his article. *** Crotalus *** 06:09, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- Delete; problematic for the reason listed above, and unnecessary because we already have an image in that article's infobox. It should be noted that many of the images in Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files #1 are reprinted from previous issues, however. *** Crotalus *** 06:08, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- Delete. Why would we want a scanned image of copyrighted text anyway? If we need to quote a portion of it, then just quote it in the article. *** Crotalus *** 06:06, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- Delete. We can easily find an image of Soranik Natu that isn't from this particular compilation. It should be noted, however, that many of the images in Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files #1 (especially, but not only, of the more obscure characters) appear themselves to have been copied-and-pasted by DC from previous comics. *** Crotalus *** 06:05, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- This is ridiculous, to claim copyright in the U.S. all that is needed is originality, these shots have it. This copyright nazi stuff is hurting the project and driving away potential contributors, originality, from what I understand, doesn't require much.Aujourd'hui, maman est morte (talk) 10:57, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
