I have been effectively retired from Wikipedia for over four years, although I have come back from time to time to dabble in the occasional article or three. In my day, many years ago, I contributed mainly in the areas of [[Korea]]n history, geography, language, and culture. I was even an admin for a time, but it wasn't to my liking. My favourite contribution remains to this day the article I created on the historical [[Eight Provinces (Korea)|Eight Provinces]] of Korea. |

I have left [http://en.wikipedia.org Wikipedia], perhaps for good. I love language. I love writing, editing, reading, and learning. Wikipedia is a fascinating, dynamically evolving collection of words and ideas, opinions and arguments. I have enjoyed participating in this great, strange, wonderful project, but it is time to move on. |

My favourite contribution has been to the article on the historical [[Eight Provinces (Korea)|Eight Provinces]] of [[Korea]], into which the country was divided from the [[15th century|15th]] to the [[19th century|19th]] centuries, and which is the starting point for learning about Korea's regional geography. My main contribution has been to expand the [[List of Korea-related topics]] from one page of a few dozen links into three pages of several hundred links. |
