Ward offered, "A recent study showed that ginkgo biloba extract has the potential to buffer the nervous system from oxidative stress." He added that a further study has shown that ginkgo bibba may help attention characteristics, short term visual memory, operational components and integral operator performance index in patients with asthenic disorders.

The herbs with higher volume -- echinacea, garlic, ginkgo bibba, ginseng, saw palmetto and Saint-Jobn's-wort -- all declined during the period, IRI reports.
