Saint Ignatius Loyola School is a Catholic, co-educational school under the auspices of the Archdiocese of New York, serving families with children from PreK-3 through Eighth Grade. Our mission is to incorporate Catholic Christian values, as exemplified by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and Saint Ignatius Loyola, with high academic achievement, in an environment that encourages an enthusiasm for learning.

Building on a legacy of carefully planned stewardship, Saint Ignatius Loyola's faculty and administration integrate these values into every area of secular study and activity, so that we send forth children who are committed Catholic Christians who will witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout their lives. Saint Ignatius Loyola School embraces the responsibility to be of service to the greater community through student involvement with charitable activities.

Congratulations to Ms. Larkin on receiving a 2025 OTTY Award from Straus News. Each year, OTTYs are giving to leaders and volunteers in the community who make a difference in NYC. We could not agree more that our head of school deserves one! Thank you for all that you do and congratulations to all of the OTTY Award recipients this year!

Saint Ignatius Loyola School has once again been named a National Blue Ribbon School!

Saint Ignatius Loyola School was nominated by Council for American Private Education (CAPE) as being among the highest performing schools in New York State, based not only on our school’s overall academic success, but also for our outstanding school culture, programs, instructional practices, leadership and professional development, as well as family and community involvement. Only 40 private schools in the country were awarded and Saint Ignatius Loyola School is one of two schools recognized in New York State.
