Lodge Chelmsford Technology No 261

What Is Freemasonry?

Lodge Chelmsford Technology is a Freemason's Lodge, it was consecrated in 1909. Lodge Chelmsford Technology meets in the suburb of Concord, NSW. Freemasonry is an organisation that has its origins based in the craft of stone masons and builders who built King Solomon's Temple and the cathedrals and castles of Europe. The secret signs, handshakes and words have their origins from these times so that fellow Masons could identify each other. Freemasons values include truth, honour, virtue, benevolence and charity and is not a religious or political organisation. More information can be found on the Freemasons of NSW and ACT website.
