Cummins said its 2008 on-highway engines--the ISX, ISM, ISL, ISC and ISB will be under the N[O.sub.x] standard, allowing them to be idled indefinitely.

However, the number of workers idled, the number of days idle, and the percent of estimated working time lost because of strikes and lockouts rose.
